Hello? Anyone out there?

in response to Inspiration...   Hi Inspiration-
Thank you for your reply. I looked over your page and ways you might be able to help and unfortunately did not see anything that would be of benefit to me at this time, though I may have missed something ( I find the layout of the page here in Aidpage a bit difficult to follow...)
I believe in my project 1000%, because I know in my heart this book will help to make a difference in other people's lives by helping them to re-connect to the beauty and power of nature. It's a project that has been kicking around in my head and heart for over two decades, and is finally being birthed into being. It's still several weeks away from being completed; the stresses of my inability to remain focused on it are taking a toll on my psyche, and to abandon it now even temporarily feels like an injustice to my soul.
My 'regular' work begins again in about 8 weeks. I have just an odd job here and there that pays barely enough to keep food on my table currently, and while I'm grateful for that, it's not enough, and my credit rating is starting to take a big hit. I have to believe that all of this will work out, but right now it feels like I'm going into a meatgrinder, just like so many others have during these economically difficult times.
Surely someone out there has the ability to help someone with a clear vision and gifts to share a helping hand up. I'm not sure how long it will take for me to return the favor, but as sure as the sun rises I intend to, paying back what is offered, or paying it forward. I believe whole-heartedly in the benevolence of humankind and look forward to the day when I can offer assistance to someone in need.
Any ideas you may have are most welcome and appreciated. Thank you again for your reply-
Namaste,
Mark

Hello? Anyone out there?

(I haven't had much luck using Aidpage, and am thinking this will be my last attempt.)

Inspiration comes in many forms, and for me it's nature. I've always found things to be awed and inspired by, and I really enjoy sharing some of what I've found along the way. People need inspiration and beauty in their lives, and one of life's greatest joys is to be a messenger of that.
My premier book, 'Coming Home to the Heart of Nature' is over the midway point of creation, and will hopefully be ready for publication in just a few more months, but I am completely out of money. I would really like to stay focused on getting the book done, and holding down a job that doesn't pay well (which is all that seems to be available right now) isn't a good way to stay focused on this project. I desperately need a patron who can help to underwrite my basic living expenses for the next couple of months. If you or someone you know might be willing to do that, I'm sure we could come to some sort of agreement as to how I can compensate you for your generosity.
Thank you in advance for your consideration! www.quietlightvermont.com/book/

inspiration support manifesting dreams

I'm passed the halfway mark with the creation of my book, 'Coming Home to the Heart of Nature'. In order to continue working on it I need to solicit the support of some benevolent soul who believes in my project as much as I do. Alas, at this point I have no rich uncles or wealthy friends who can help to support my modest lifestyle for the next couple of months, which is what it will take for me to pull all of the pieces together for a final product...
If you or someone you know is philanthropically inclined, I'd really enjoy hearing from you. I don't see my book so much as a self-rewarding pursuit as it is a gift to a movement-crazed culture that needs to re-discover the peace and tranquility of the natural world. Thank you for your consideration

The dream is alive, but gasping...

Making reasonable progress on my book project (www.quietlightvermont.com/book/ ) and trying to maintain trust in the universe that this is what I'm meant to be doing with my life at the moment. That's challenging when I'm setting a new record for personal insolvency...
Any angels out there? Hello?

dreams, ambitions, foundations, helping others

I want to start a foundation. Not just a run of the mill, ordinary foundation (though there are definitely some GREAT ones), but a foundation for these times that helps people who need a helping hand up, not -as the saying goes- a hand out. For much of my adult life I've had my ambitions thwarted by the lack of working capital. Now, with my intention to win the lottery, as soon as I do I will start a foundation with most of the winnings that will help the single mom who's striving for a college degree by paying for all of her schooling, will help underwrite the development of ingenious devices that will help to curb humankind's impact on the earth and our resources, will help the elderly man diagnosed with cancer from losing his home that he has owned for 30 years...
I believe that our world is rife with injustices, many of which could be completely avoided if we all cared for and looked out for one another. We need to re-build our communities and recall what it means to be part of the human race. It is, after all, not a race, but a diverse group of humans who are just like me and you, with simple and fundamental needs that can all be fulfilled if we just care enough to reach out and offer even the slightest bit of support. Together we can make a difference, and lighten the load of so many people's struggles...
So I plan to win the lottery, and when I do, I'm going to help this crazy world of ours to be a more joyful, more peaceful, more cooperative place to be. having lived my whole life with not much, I've realized that it takes so little to really feel fortunate. I am blessed more than I can say-
We all are...

About VTMarkus

Are you or anyone you know supportive of the arts/artists? I'm a nature and landscape photographer when I'm not working at my 'regular' job as a landscape contractor. My work has all but dried up, and with some unexpected downtime I'm re-energizing my artistic pursuits in two forms: a calendar of my work, which will be a promotional tool for the book I'm working on titled 'Coming Home to the Heart of Nature'. My book is about the importance of connecting with the energies of nature to promote inner peace and a more harmonious relationship with the world around us, and both the calendar and the book will be portfolios of my photography.
Both of these efforts take financial resources that I don't currently have, but I'm pressing on as I feel that THIS work is my life's calling. I'm needing to find the financial support of a benevolent soul who believes in my efforts.
I'm happy to share more details of this project with whoever might like to hear more. You can contact me through my website, which also has a promo for the book at www.quietlightvermont.com/book/
Thanks for your interest!

Gratitude is a state of mind

in response to Muunlite...   It's important to understand where stress and sadness come from. The world will always throw things at us that affect our states of mind, good or bad. The trick is in learning to find ways to stay empowered and find peace within ourselves. I don't belittle anyone's sufferings, and believe me, I have plenty of my own. There is a lot to be said for not letting things get to us to the point of dis-empowerment. What we all need is to find that place inside that TRUSTS the process, and move forward from there-
It is very easy to get so self-involved that we become blind to the plight of others. There will always be people in worse shape than us; find someone who's in a rough spot and offer just the slightest help and compassion for them to lighten their burden. THIS is how we help to transform our lives because we're all in this thing together-

Gratitude is a state of mind

I sometimes overlook all of the things I have to be grateful for. I am doing well this AM because I have oriented my mind and heart towards gratefulness. Sure, there are things that I want and need to change about my life, but it is easier to do if I can keep a sense of gratitude for the many things in my life that are supportive and nurturing, even it is as basic as water coming out of the tap...
